KREUL TRiton Acrylic Marker Gold

Effect art meets design: KREUL Triton Acrylic Marker in metallic colours

12/16/2021 |

Lines in gleaming gold overlap with simple shapes in silver and copper. The KREUL Triton Acrylic Markers in metallic colours show artists the exciting effects you can achieve with reflected light. Especially in combination with unusual backgrounds. After all, the acrylic markers aren’t just designed for painting on canvas. On smooth-ground pebbles, craggy slate or rustic log discs, they demonstrate how impactful effect paint can be in combination with haptic surfaces. Here, colours shimmer in beguiling contrast to elegant design shapes. With contemporary art, you can achieve captivating effects. We are completely fascinated with the interplay between the cool metallics and unusual surfaces. And that not just for festive occasions.

Playing with metallic colours on lots of different surfaces

The KREUL Triton Acrylic Marker has long been one of our favourite implements for painting on canvas. But the marker with its intense colour can do so much more. You can apply the acrylic ink it contains with precision onto numerous surfaces. Whether you want sweeping strokes or minimalistic graphic elements: you can use the KREUL Triton Acrylic Marker to create designer art in miniature from stones, wood, metal, glass and much more. It is even suitable for acrylic art on paper as the colour doesn’t seep through the surface. The acrylic marker dries fast to a silk-matt finish – perfect for elaborating new ideas layer on layer. Our metallic colours stand out as especially stylish on surfaces in neutral shades. On grey or black, the nuanced colours gleam with captivating effects. How about using the black of slate for artistic designs? And, of course, the metallic colours are very effective on surfaces primed with SOLO GOYA Triton Acrylic.

KREUL Triton Acrylic Marker edge: For wide-ranging drawing projects in metallic colours

The metallic colours silver, light gold, gold and copper are ideal for drawing on coloured surfaces. That's why we include these shades in the KREUL Triton Acrylic Marker edge assortment. The wedge tip is a real allrounder. With a stroke width varying between 1 to 4 millimetres, you can use it for broad strokes as well as pinpoint details. Great for creating copper-coloured patterns, spanning silver arcs above them and rounding off your artwork with filigree sketching in gold.

Colouring large areas in shimmering shades: KREUL Triton Acrylic Marker XXL

The silver and gold colours are also available with an XXL tip. The KREUL Triton Acrylic Marker XXL has a stroke width of around 15 millimetres. This makes it a fantastic tool for extra-wide lines in bold colour. But you can also use the XXL tip to fill larger areas. Use it to create organic shapes, rectangles or prominent  elements to separate these with just a few strokes. Truly magnificent how these simple shapes gleam in enthralling metallic shades.

Quickly ready to use over and over again thanks to refills and replacement tips

We have fitted the KREUL Triton Acrylic Marker with a valve system. This makes for a steady, even flow of colour that artists really appreciate. Metallic pigments are heavier than other pigments and can settle in the marker. That's why we recommend that you shake the marker vigorously before you use it. If the metallic pigments do clog up the tip, you don't have to immediately replace the marker. You can easily remove the tips and wash them. We also include replacement tips in our range so you can quickly change the tip to use the marker again. But what about when the acrylic ink has run out? Simply refill the silver and gold markers with KREUL Triton Acrylic Ink. Exciting colours, easy handling and sustainable use: that’s why we love this modern way to paint!
