KREUL paint experience: Where does Mum or Dad work?

09/18/2024 |

It’s so exciting when you get to visit your parents at their workplace. On the last day of the summer holidays, our corridors rang out with children’s laughter. After all, we had invited the children of employees to visit our plant in Hallerndorf. There, curious eyes peered into pots of paint and the kids themselves were able to experiment with paint and colour. Their verdict: "We’ll definitely be back soon!". We are delighted that we can get children’s eyes shining with our paints and colours. Here, just a few impressions of this eventful day.

An insight into KREUL paint production

What’s making that clicking noise? What’s that moving there? A highlight at KREUL is a view down onto our paint production from the gallery. From that viewpoint, the kids could see the row of huge tubs of paint waiting to be carried off on a forklift truck. There's something to discover everywhere – like one of those hidden object puzzles, but with everything moving about.

The evacuation station: out with all the air

But don’t panic, here the air is only being extracted from green paint. The specialist machine ensures that no pockets of air are left in the paint. Wow, impressive. Not only our youngest visitors were fascinated, but owner and managing director Dr Florian Hawranek, too.

Busy helpers stacking paint tubs

But just watching all the time is boring. Helping is more fun! The kids were very keen to help stack freshly filled tubs of MUCKI Finger Paint into boxes. The big filling machines and belt conveyors won a lot of admiring looks – perhaps inspiring one or other of the visitors to consider “machine engineer” as a potential career for later.

Endless colour - KREUL painting fun

The best thing about KREUL? Well, the paints, of course! And the kids loved trying these out. On the asphalt in front of our plant, we are now greeted by some beautiful street art, at least until the next rain shower. And some stunning pieces of art to take home were created with KREUL Kids Art at the easel. And since you can certainly work up an appetite painting like the old masters, pizza was next on the menu. So much fun, but all over so quickly.
