Stones and water-resistant paint – let’s get painting
You don’t need much for painting rocks and stones. We have chosen KREUL Acrylic Matt Paint in yellow as this dries to a waterproof and weather-resistant finish. Perfect if you want to show off your painted stones outdoors. And, of course, the painted artworks look great for the summer in other colours, e.g. violet. We have drawn lines with a KREUL Triton Acrylic Marker in white, but you can just as well use decorate your stones with black lines. What else do you need? A fine hair paintbrush and clean pebbles in different shapes and sizes.

Dot painting on pebbles – meditative and relaxing
Evenly spaced simple dots forming a pattern? Sounds like mandala painting. And that is exactly what it is. We dip our paintbrush into yellow KREUL Acrylic Matt Paint and paint dot for dot at regular intervals on the stone. This type of art is known in social media under the hashtag #dotpainting and it’s very popular. Why? The meditative painting of the dot patterns is relaxing, boosting concentration and producing beautiful works of art. Give it a go!

Beautifying stones with Doodleart – easy, but stylish
Prefer to draw rather than paint? Then you’ll find the KREUL Triton Acrylic Marker perfect for decorating stones and pebbles. But first cover your stone with a basecoat of KREUL Acrylic Matt Paint. After just a few minutes, the surface is dry and perfect for decoration. First, we use the marker to draw a spiral. Then we add small semi-circles to the line we have drawn. We can make the pattern super stylish by adding leaf veins to the semi-circles. And your own personal piece of #doodleart is all done. What about some evenly spaced dots, swirls or lines? Have fun trying out this type of painting and, simply relax!
