Bold colour combo: Orange and pink

09/24/2024 |

What colour is the perfect partner for orange? We asked our followers on Instagram. And we were amazed at the answers we got. Many creatives picked the combination of orange and pink. Classic options like orange and white or black still work. But orange and pink is an absolute power-packed duo. The two colours are sassy, eyecatching shades on their own, but paired together they make each other really pop. Ideal for art and projects to radiate energy and a zest for life. Here, we show you three creative ideas with orange and pink as the star performers.

Idea 1: Orange & pink for the home office

Order can look so stylish. Here, we have sprayed magazine files and an organizer box with KREUL Neon Spray in Neon Pink. The branch looks like a coral, which we have also sprayed. As a vase, we are using a bottle that we have painted in the colour KREUL Acrylic Matt colour Orange. Together with the orange-coloured candle holder, the combination really lights up for an energy boost to combat any after-lunch slump. This makes office work fun!

Idea 2: Get the bright combo flowing

Fancy an XXL piece of unique abstract art? It’s so easy. And you don’t need a single brushstroke. We let thinned acrylic paint flow over the canvas. We have used SOLO GOYA Triton Acrylic in the colours Genuine Orange, Genuine Red and Fluorescent Pink. Each colour was thinned individually in a separated beaker. For this, we mixed the acrylic paint with SOLO GOYA Pouring Fluid to get a consistency like liquid honey. Now just empty the paints onto the canvas, tilt the painting surface and let the bright colours flow. And your artwork bursting with character is all finished.

Idea 3: Joyful mandala in power-packed colours

Autumn’s here, wowing us with its wonderful colours. We are taking the season's lead and decorating pebbles with colourful mandalas. These look especially joyful when bright colours like orange, magenta and red are positioned very close to each other. But no need to paint, just dab small dots of colour in a symmetrical circular pattern. The KREUL Acrylic Matt Marker medium is perfect for this as it comes with a robust round tip.
