If you thin the paint with water, the colour character of the paint changes, It becomes transparent, ideal for colour washes. The brilliance of the colours blends with the white colour of the picture surface. As a picture background and as effects, colour washes can be an attractive design element.

For rich colour application, paint with colour direct from its tube or bottle onto the painting surface. Use an artist’s knife to achieve a more sculpted look, structureless surfaces or relief-like patterns.
 

If you like to work with multiple layers, simply paint over the fast-drying SOLO GOYA Acrylic after a short drying time. Thanks to its perfect matt-drying finish, it is perfect as a primer for artwork in oils.
