MUCKI Fingerfarbe Oekotest 2021 sehr gut

ÖKO-TEST 'very good' for the MUCKI Finger Paint and MUCKI Children's glue

10/04/2021 |

Hurray for the MUCKI Finger Paint and the MUCKI Children's glue! We received top marks for both products. The MUCKI Finger Paint 4-piece set 150 ml (art. no. 2314) was tested in the current ÖKO-TEST magazine Guidebook Children & Family 2021, pages 90-95, in the finger paint test section and was awarded the grade 'very good'. The MUCKI Children's glue 80 ml (art. no. 24382) was also tested in this guidebook on pages 98-103, section test craft glue, and received the grade very good. This means that we have once again received excellent ratings, which we are very pleased about. They reflect how important it is to us to make the MUCKI products safe and suitable for children.

We have developed the MUCKI Finger Paint so that it is suitable for children from the age of 2. It deliberately avoids ingredients that are not necessary. Raw materials that are the subject of criticism are not an option for us. We think little artists need paints that are reliable. That's why we do everything we can to produce a children's product with the best quality and sensitive properties. This also applies to the MUCKI children's glue. The odourless, water-based glue has been developed for children from the age of 4. We do not use parabens in either the MUCKI children's glue or the MUCKI Finger Paint. The products are gluten and lactose-free, vegan and dermatologically tested. We subject our children's products to continuous tests in our own laboratory and also have tests carried out by independent institutes. It's good when this extra effort is appreciated and translates into a top rating!

The safe ingredients of the colours in the MUCKI Finger Paint 4-piece set and the MUCKI children's glue convinced the jury of the ÖKO-TEST magazine. In this blog post, we have already explained which ingredients are in the MUCKI Finger Paint and which we deliberately avoid. Since the very youngest artists like to put coloured fingers in their mouths, the ÖKO-TEST magazine also paid attention to the addition of bitter substances. We add the bitter substance Bitrex, which contains the best-known, most bitter active ingredient. There was also a positive response for this. When testing the preservatives, the ÖKO-TEST magazine followed the current EU standard DIN EN 71.7 for finger paints. It only permits certain colourants and preservatives and specifies maximum permissible concentrations of substances. Both the MUCKI Finger Paint and the MUCKI children's glue were tested and compared with 18 products from competing suppliers. The MUCKI children's glue does not contain any questionable or controversial ingredients. The ÖKO-TEST magazine rated this as very good and can recommend the MUCKI children's glue for everyday craft work.
