### On what surfaces can you use KREUL Streety Sidewalk Paint?
The liquid chalk paint for children has been developed for painting on asphalt. The bright colours show up beautifully against the dark grey background. But you can also paint on paving stones and concrete. But the paint should not be used on natural stone. Patio surfacing and walls built with sandstone, granite, marble & co. absorb the chalk paint more and so are more difficult to clean.
### What’s the best way to apply KREUL Streety Sidewalk Paint?
As the chalk paint has a liquid consistency, you can best apply it with a paint roller or paintbrush. The paint roller soaks up the chalk paint and spreads it evenly over the surface as you roll it – perfect for painting large areas quickly with bright colours. A paintbrush is also a good tool for chalk street art. We recommend a large and robust bristle paintbrush like the KREUL paintbrush for Streety Sidewalk Paint. It's robust, staying in good shape despite the rough asphalt surface and but it's also suitable for painting details.
### Is KREUL Streety Sidewalk Paint paraben-free?
Yes it is. It has even been dermatologically tested and it’s vegan. The sidewalk paint is also gluten- and lactose-free. The children’s paint is made from at least 95 % natural raw materials. It is made and filled into jars in Hallerndorf in Upper Franconia, Germany. Technical expertise and many years developing a feeling for colour make for a product with consistent quality. That's paint made in Germany.
### How do you wash KREUL Streety Sidewalk paint off hands?
To make the liquid sidewalk chalk shine so intensely, we have mixed it according to a recipe with high-intensity colourants, including food colourings. Although KREUL Streety Sidewalk Paint is applied with a paintbrush or paint roller, splashes of colour can still end up on the hands of the little artists. The bright-coloured chalk paint also stains skin. The drier it is, the more intensive the colour. If cream has been previously applied to the hands, they usually don't stain as badly. But with lots of water and a bit of soap, brightly coloured hands are soon clean again. We recommend soaking hands in lukewarm water and cleaning them with a nailbrush. If paint has also splashed onto arms and legs, a bubble bath is a good idea. Spots of colour on clothes can be usually washed off in the washing machine at 30 °C.
### How long does KREUL Streety Sidewalk Paint last?
If children apply the paint to an asphalt surface, then their artwork will last until the next rain shower. But if you want to clean the surface beforehand, use a garden hose to spray water under pressure. So that the paint remains fresh for the next painting session, children shouldn't paint straight out of the paint jars. It is more hygienic to portion the paint onto a paper plate. This also makes the paint go further. And it gives the mini-street artists a palette to use for mixing and dabbing paint. Have lots of fun painting!
