Finally, paint ideas you get to actually touch again along with some inspiring shop talk. We can look back on four exciting trade fair days. Following a two-year break on account of the pandemic, we were at the Creativeworld 2023 from 4 to 7 February.
The trade fair provided a fantastic backdrop for sharing ideas on an international level. But, above all, it provided the opportunity for us to show the creative world how we are realizing sustainability. With cleverly thought-out products and alternative concepts. We’d love to show you the highlights from our trade fair stand here – in a review for everyone who visited us and for everyone who unfortunately weren’t able to get there.
### Sustainability: From the products to their presentation
Retailers, key customers, chains and artists: so many different interested visitors were drawn to the KREUL trade fair stand, showing just how popular KREUL is as an international brand. Curious customers from Germany, Scandinavia, Chile, Singapore and India examined our paints and colours made in Germany. As the world moves closer together, sustainability is more important than ever. This thought was perceptible at the stands of many of the companies exhibiting at the Creativeworld.
We were able to show that sustainability extends over numerous levels: alternative formulations and product containers, more environmentally friendly packaging, carbon-neutral production and, above all, a different way of thinking. Our aspiration is to come up with more climate-friendly solutions, but nevertheless deliver dependable quality. Right down to the tiniest details. That’s why we didn’t present our products on specially made pedestals that get thrown away after the trade fair. But on cardboard boxes that we can carry on using within the company after the trade fair has closed its doors.
### New bottles and jars made of PCR material
What will 2023 bring? For KREUL products, we have opted for alternative product containers made of PCR material. For instance, the 250-ml bottle for SOLO GOYA Acrylic is made completely from recycled plastic. We report [here](https://farben-blog.c-kreul.de/en/farben-blog/blog/kreul-insights/2023/1/23/containers-made-of-recycled-plastic-sustainable-and-practical) on the thinking behind this and which other products already come in resource-saving containers. The trade fair visitors were able to inspect the new raw material at our stand.
### New formulations made of sustainable resources
There’s a big demand for environmentally friendlier paints and adhesives. We have therefore developed new, more sustainable products, while we have reworked some existing ones. Both variants contains formulations consisting of predominantly sustainable raw materials. Like, for example, the KREUL Nature craft glue. It is produced on plant basis and is made of at least 80 % raw materials of natural origin. In future, our sustainable creative products will be displayed next to each other at retail outlets – so climate-conscious shoppers can check out the selection of alternative products at a glance.
### Studio feeling for kids
We have been fascinated by paint for 185 years. So, of course, we wanted to showcase our new paint ideas at Creativeworld 2023. The KREUL Kids Art Artists‘ Paints for Children was an absolute highlight. The colour-intense, easy-wash-off paint lets children aged from six years paint just like the grown-ups, but in a child-friendly way. Fitting in with this: the KREUL Master Forger Box that turns art history into a listening experience and inspires children to paint like the old masters.
### Lots of colour and easy-to-do techniques
For adult artists, too, 2023 brings new paint products. For instance, the popular acrylic paint SOLO GOYA Acrylic will now be available in a set of 48 colours. Perfect for having just about every colour you’ll need ready to use on your palette. This extensive set of paints got excellent feedback at the trade fair. Another favourite among the international customers was the KREUL Candle Pen. This can be used with easy techniques to turn candles into eye-catching gifts and home accessories.
Summing up
------------
Even if we were in a different hall this time, lots of interested visitors made their way to our stand. It was fantastic to give advice face-to-face again, demonstrate our new products live and chat with the visitors. The all-round positive feedback to our sustainable approach has encouraged us on our way forward. We’re going with reimagined paints and colours! 2023 is time for more sustainable creativity.
