The fantastic thing about the KREUL Gloss Paint Marker is that it is a real all-rounder. It is suitable for various surfaces such as wood, metal, plastic, stone, cardboard, paper, rubber, leather, polystyrene or terracotta. And it can be used both indoors and outdoors. On smooth surfaces such as glass, acrylic glass, foil, mirrors or tiles, it shows its true ability. That's why the KREUL Gloss Paint Marker is perfect for creating glamorous and permanent Christmas baubles.
In contrast to the KREUL Acrylic Matt Marker, the KREUL Gloss Paint Marker is solvent-based. This means that it adheres perfectly even to smooth, non-absorbent surfaces. Decorations with acrylic markers are usually matt or silk matt after drying. However, designs with the KREUL Gloss Paint Marker also enchant with a beautiful shine after drying.
We have equipped the KREUL Gloss Paint Marker with a valve system to achieve a rich, well-covering and even writing flow with the highly pigmented ink. The KREUL Gloss Paint Marker should be shaken for about one minute with the cap closed before use so that the colour pigments and binder mix evenly. Then carefully press the tip onto the paper several times until it is saturated with the colour ink. Do not press the tip too hard or it may blot. Write the KREUL Gloss Paint Marker briefly on paper, then it is ready for use on numerous surfaces.
If the KREUL Gloss Paint Marker no longer writes fluidly, it is possible that the pen tip is clogged with pigments. Unfortunately, cleaning with water does not help, because the ink is waterproof. However, the solvent contained in the KREUL Gloss Paint Marker dissolves itself with further applications of paint. We therefore recommend writing out the pen on paper in between and at the end of creative work until the flow of colour weakens. This way, any remaining pigments get onto the paper and do not remain in the tip.
The KREUL Gloss Paint Marker is best protected with the cap closed. You should hear a clear 'click' when closing the cap. Even though pens look decorative in a pencil box, we still recommend storing the KREUL Gloss Paint Marker horizontally. This way, the pigments are distributed over a longer area and are more evenly covered by the binder, which allows them to mix more quickly when shaken.
