Pink is eccentric, exhilarating and joyful. We’re happy to get carried away by this high-spirited mood and are making pink our colour of the month for April. Want to join us? ### Impactful combination of red and white
Pink comes in many different shades. Like, for instance, shocking pink, an intense colour with an attitude. This is a bright pink with full-on impact. That’s why it is often used for stand-out features. Whether as lipstick, in fashion or in artwork, pink is exuberant and self-assured. The colour is mixed from a bluish red with a little white. If you add more white, then you get the softer rose pink hues. Pink is also often called magenta or fuchsia. The complementary colour to pink is green. Perhaps that’s why a pink rose with green leaves can send us into raptures.
